2. Himalayan black salt
It is one of the types of salt that people usually use in Indian households. It is also called “Kala namak” or “black salt”. Its rough and vibrant purplish red color comes from minerals and its pungent odor is due to the presence of sulfur.

Types of sea salt

2. Salt flakes

3. Fleur De Sel

7. Hawaiian red salt

Types of fine salt
Fine salt is salt with extremely fine grains of salt that are extracted from brines. This practice creates a higher yield, a cleaner product, and is generally less expensive. By pumping water below the Earth’s surface, salt deposits are dissolved, creating brines.
1. Table salt

2. Pickling salt
It is a variety of coarse salt that contains no iodine, no minerals and no clumping elements. It is ideal for pickling due to its fine granules and the absence of additives. Pickling salt should be stored in an airtight container to keep moisture out and prevent it from clumping.
Use: Can be used for canning and pickling of vegetables or fresh fruit.
